Make a drawing of the area where measurements will be taken

With a tape measure, measure from corner to corner and record it on the drawing. Keep in mind the following:

-The height and distance of the wall
-Height and width of the windows
-Space between windows and doors
-Measurement of the radiators

Record drainage points, gas lines, and dishwasher or sink measurements.
